BUTTOCK
AESTHETICS

What is Buttock Aesthetics?
A voluminous, round, and aesthetic buttock is one of the key elements of femininity and attractiveness in the female body. Buttock aesthetics is a surgical procedure aimed at making this area more ideal in terms of both volume and shape. Today, the most preferred method for achieving a natural and proportional appearance is fat injection using the patient's own fat tissue.
Strategic Approach in Buttock Aesthetics
Making the buttocks look aesthetic and attractive involves not only adding volume but also adjusting the proportions of the surrounding areas. Therefore:
• Excess fat from areas like the waist, back, and hips is removed using liposuction to define the buttock contour,
• If there are common indentations on the sides of the buttocks, these hollows are filled with fat injections,
• If the overall volume of the buttocks is insufficient, the harvested fat tissue is injected directly onto the buttock muscle to add volume.
This way, the buttocks achieve a more proportional and feminine look not just from the back, but also from the front and sides.
Buttock Shaping with Fat Injection
Unlike small areas like the face, the buttocks have a large volume. Therefore, for fat injection, a sufficient amount of fat needs to be harvested from various parts of the body. The abdomen, waist, back, and, if necessary, the inner thighs are among the primary donor sites used for this purpose.
Fat tissue injected into the buttocks has a much higher survival rate compared to fat injections in other parts of the body. This is because the muscle structure and blood circulation in the area are more favorable for the engraftment of fat cells.
Post-Surgery Process
• Pain with movement is an expected part of the first 4 days after surgery.
• Some fluid leakage from the liposuction areas is normal. If necessary, vacuum drains are placed and removed within 1–5 days.
• After fat injection to the buttocks, it is important to lie face down as much as possible,
• You must avoid sitting directly on your buttocks for at least 20 days. During this time, special pillows that keep the buttocks elevated are used.
Augmentation with Buttock Implants
In some cases, if the patient does not have enough fat tissue or desires more significant volume, silicone buttock implants are preferred. This procedure:
• Is performed through two small incisions made along the buttock crease, with the majority of the incision hidden within the crease,
• A pocket is created within the largest buttock muscle (gluteus maximus), and an appropriately sized implant is placed inside the muscle,
• After this surgery, it is also recommended to avoid sitting directly on the buttocks for at least 20 days.
Natural and Lasting Results
When buttock aesthetics are planned correctly, a natural appearance is achieved, and body proportions become more balanced. Procedures involving fat injection, in particular, offer advantages such as shaping and improving skin quality.
