Op. Dr. Mustafa Karaca welcomes many patients from all over the world to his clinic in Istanbul every year. We recommend that patients planning to come from abroad arrive in Istanbul at least 1–2 days before their surgery date. This process allows for a face-to-face consultation with our doctor to complete the pre-surgery evaluations and provide comprehensive answers to all your questions.
The length of your stay in Istanbul may vary depending on the type and scope of the procedure to be performed. In general, patients can safely return home within 5 to 10 days after cosmetic surgery. However, every patient and every surgery is different. Therefore, it is important to contact our consulting team for detailed planning.
We continue your post-operative check-ups online even after you leave Istanbul. Dr. Karaca regularly monitors his patients' recovery process with follow-ups at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months. These check-ups are very important for ensuring a healthy recovery process and evaluating long-term results.
In rare cases, complications may arise after surgical procedures. In such cases, you may need to return to Istanbul. If deemed necessary, our team will work with you to plan the most appropriate solution.
The recovery process is unique to each individual. Depending on the type of surgery performed, swelling, bruising, or mild pain is considered normal. During your consultation, Dr. Karaca will provide you with clear information about the process and will share detailed information about the points you need to pay attention to after surgery.

How the process works
1. You can contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email.
2. Our team will collect the necessary information during communication with you.
3. Your information will be consulted with Op. Dr. Mustafa Karaca.
4. If necessary, an online consultation will be conducted to determine the most suitable surgery for you.
5. An appropriate date is agreed upon.
6. Your trip will be planned according to your length of stay and travel preferences. If you need it, our team will organize airport pick-up, transfers within Istanbul, and accommodation.
7. After arriving in Istanbul, a consultation with Dr. Karaca is held, followed by preoperative tests and an anesthesia assessment.
8. Planlanan günde ameliyat olursunuz. Ameliyatın türüne göre 1 veya 2 gün hastanede kalırsınız. Taburculuğunuzun ardından ekibimizin takibinde otelde konaklamaya devam edersiniz.
9. Approximately 5 days after the surgery, Dr. Karaca will perform your post-operative checkup at our clinic.
10. You will return home as one of our happy patients.
